AU-EU Summit 17-18 February 2022: A Science Agenda

The AERAP Africa-Europe Science Collaboration Platform will organise side events at the AU-EU Summit on 14-18 February 2022. The purpose of the meeting will be to promote awareness of the contribution of collaborative research and development as a critical aspect of EU-Africa relations and collaborations, in particular in addressing global challenges together.

Dr Layih Butake is a versatile, creative, communications professional with ten years of progressively responsible experience in not-for-profit communications, research and project management. Holder of a Master’s in Corporate Communication, a PhD in Performing Arts and Cinematography studies, four certifications in Project Management (PRINCE 2 Foundation & Practitioner) and Project Management for Development Professionals (1 & 2), a Core Humanitarian Certification and certificates in crisis, humanitarian communication and public relations.
A passionate creative with a solid background in strategy, content development and research, Layih served as an adjunct lecturer at the Performance and Visual Arts Unit of the University of Buea, as well as the Department of Arts and Archaeology at the University of Yaoundé I, Cameroon, and Research Officer at the S.T. Muna Foundation.
Currently leading communications efforts across the AIMS network, she is exceptionally skilled in scripting and directing audio-visual productions, creative writing, event and program management, and the conception of a wide range of communications collateral.
